"This show has exposed me to the consequences of being around people who lack compassion, empathy and tolerance. These people are poison to your life," Flicker told The Daily Mail of her co-stars.
"They forgot where they came from and some in my opinion have entitlement issues," she continued. "When I counsel people who have been victimized, I highlight the need to get rid of toxic people in their lives. Unfortunately, some circumstances make it impossible to walk away, and in those situations I make sure they know to stand their ground and show that toxicity will never win."
Though Flicker's statement is a stark contrast from her sentiments in season seven, it's not completely shocking. The 50-year-old previously teased that fans will see a different side of "The Sig" and basically painted herself as the outsider, hinting that almost everyone is against her in the upcoming season. Despite the unexpected turn of events, Flicker is not the type who backs down.
"There are a lot of sharks on this show and in life; people who circle around you as predators and are prepared to attack at any moment," she said. "I deal with these toxic sharks the same way I advise my clients on how to deal with bullies. You don't back down. You don't swim away."
"The point I'm trying to make is that you must stand up for something or you will fall for anything," she added. "I practice what I preach, and I do not back down. I am a passionate person and I will not compromise my values."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns on October 4 on Bravo.
